Hello
I would like to invite you to sign up and join a brand new forum about 4x4s and camping. We are a Pro Access board and feature access issues as soon as we find them.
naging problem I have worked and worked and worked on
first, the entire system under the 67 is custom, rear brakes are 11 inch drums, fronts are GM disc, master cylinder is 2 stage, residual valves and proportioning valve are aftermarket and matched to the system.
I have taken the Jeep out 3 times after the build of the entire thing has been finished, and each time I have to relieve the rear of pressure and ability to work because they get hot and seize up. I really mean that, somewhere I get friction causing evey thing to expand. When I release the pressure it goes to normal and the shoes backoff until I tighten the lineback up and then it is back to square 2 again.
I am thinking of converting the rears to Disc also but want to find a not so powerful caliper as the front that has a bracket I can make fit a early d44 with 5 on 5.5

Freedom is something we have to fight for. And to be free, we have to accept and fight for everyone else's freedoms also.
I have disc in the front and rear and it stop "smoother". Although, a booster maybe be next inline. Might try replacing the rotors and pads first up front. Rear were done with the axle swap. I'll let you know what I find out.
